Care & Craft
Every Sleepy Peach piece is created with the same balance of design and durability. We work in small batches so we can oversee every step from pattern drafting to final embroidery. Our goal is simple: make clothing that feels special, lasts beautifully, and only gets better with time.
Our Materials
Closeup of the jacquard weaving technique used in the Flower Power Throw Pillowcases.
We use 100% cotton yarn for all of our knitwear. The yarn is soft, breathable, and strong enough to hold detailed jacquard patterns. Cotton allows color to stay rich without sacrificing comfort, and it ages gracefully with wear.
Our denim jackets are made from 100% denim. Our shirts and socks are made from 100% cotton. Our berets are made from 100% wool. Are you beginning to notice a pattern?
You’ll never find generic blanks here. Every item is cut, sewn, or knit specifically for Sleepy Peach in our factory in California or in BSCI-compliant factories in Italy, China, France and Canada.
How It’s Made
Digitizing the Buggin' Out pattern to electronically weave into the cotton yarn.
Each pattern starts as a digital sketch in our studio, then moves to production in small, tightly monitored runs. Our jacquard knits are built to showcase clean edges and precise artwork. It's a process that takes longer, but looks and feels far better.
Embroidery and finishing are applied after assembly, so every stitch sits naturally against the knit, never puckering or peeling. This method also preserves texture and clarity over years of wear.
We produce in small quantities to maintain quality control. When a batch sells out, we rarely restock.
How to Care for Your Sleepy Peach
Lay your garments flat to dry.
These are small-batch garments. Treat them with care, and they’ll last for years.
For knits, denim jackets, and sweaters:
-
Turn inside out before washing.
-
Machine wash cold on gentle cycle or hand wash.
-
Lay flat to dry. Never tumble.
-
Store folded, not hung, to preserve shape.
For button-ups and cotton pieces:
-
Wash cold, gentle cycle.
-
Low heat or air dry preferred.
-
Steam or low iron as needed. Avoid embroidery areas.
For accessories:
-
Spot clean gently with mild detergent and cold water.
Each piece ships with a care tag, but this guide keeps everything you own in rotation, not in storage.
Longevity & Philosophy

We don’t believe in disposable fashion. Every Sleepy Peach item is made to be worn, loved, and revisited. Your items will last a long time and should be a part of your rotation, not a seasonal trend.
Slight wear or softening over time is part of the garment’s story. It's the sign of something that was made, not manufactured.
Our work is about lasting connection between art, craft, and the people who collect it.
