Sustainability

At Sleepy Peach, we believe in creating clothing that's built to last. We're committed to sustainable practices that respect both people and the planet.

100% Natural Materials

We don't use synthetic materials for our clothing. Every piece in our collection is made from premium natural fibers:

  • 100% Premium Cotton for our cardigans, sweaters, vests, socks, and shirts.
  • 100% Denim for our denim jackets.
  • 100% Wool for our berets.
  • 100% Recycled Cotton for our tote bags.

Ethical Production

We partner with factories that meet our high standards for worker welfare and environmental responsibility. Our garments are produced in:

  • California, USA
  • BSCI-compliant facilities in Italy, China, France, and Canada

BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certification ensures fair wages, safe working conditions, and ethical labor practices.

Built to Last

Every Sleepy Peach clothing item is designed to age gracefully and become a staple in your wardrobe for years. By creating garments that last, we reduce the need for constant replacement and minimize waste. Non-clothing products use various materials that can be found in the product description. When sourcing materials, we use the best possible materials for the intended purpose.

Waste Reduction Through Our Thrift Shop

Instead of discarding clothing returns, we clean and resell them through our quarterly online Thrift Shops. This initiative keeps perfectly good clothing out of landfills and into our eager audience's hands. You can be notified of our Thrift Shops by signing up to our newsletter.

Small-Batch Production

We produce in small batches (less than 100 items) to minimize overproduction and waste. This approach means we create only what's needed, which reduces our environmental footprint. Preorders also ensure that what we make doesn't sit in a warehouse somewhere waiting for a purchase.

We're always working to improve our sustainability practices. This is just the beginning of our journey toward a more responsible future.
