Piggy Banks
I have to go get my car fixed for like the sixteenth time this month. It's a 2015 Honda that I refuse to let die.
Juliet and I just bought and painted a piggy bank. While we were painting the piggy bank, I asked Juliet, "What if I didn't show up with my credit card to pay for my car, but I showed up holding this piggy bank instead?
"And the mechanics would get mad at me, but I'd be like, 'Look! I'm just as annoyed as you are! You think I'm happy about all this?'"
And then it got me thinking: what if there were no more credit cards, and everyone just had to carry around a piggy bank everywhere they went to pay for everything? How different would society be because of that?
You couldn't call an Uber, or do a lot of things! And then we just started laughing at the concept. Moments like this are so beautiful!
